Upgrade for Motor Sports and Fast Road Car

Brake Testing International Ltd are pleased to announce an upgrade to their passenger car inertial dynamometer capability to provide test services targeted at the global high performance road car and Motor Sport braking industries.   The upgrade to their existing PC1 dynamometer incorporates a 173 kW motor and 3,000 rpm top speed combined with an inertia range of 8 to 120 kgm2.   The improved acceleration and top speed of the upgraded dynamometer, in combination with the fully automated Microface control and data acquisition systems, support direct simulation of actual F1 and the fastest road car performance parameters.

Established in 2002, BRAKE TESTING INTERNATIONAL LTD provides independent, full-scale inertia dynamometer brake testing services to the leading Vehicle Manufacturers, Tier One and Tier Two suppliers in the motor cycle, automotive, commercial vehicle, rail, and motor sports industries.

The Company offers its customers testing for product development, Type Approval (including ECE Regulation 90), performance characterisation, and life cycle durability on full size inertia brake dynamometers ranging in inertia from 8 kgm2 to 2000 kgm2. The company also offers testing to industry standard procedures such as AMS and AK Master, and will on request develop bespoke test protocols for individual customers.
