Oct. 31 Poker Tournament Will Land Grand Prize Winner a $10,000 Seat at the 2007 World Series of Poker

With a $10,000 grand prize on the line, 12 technicians and counter professionals from across the country will gather around a Las Vegas poker table Oct. 31 for the Spicer Showdown, an Affina Under Vehicle Group promotion that could land one lucky winner a seat alongside the world’s best players at the 2007 World Series of Poker.

The 12 winners received an all-expense paid trip to Las Vegas and face each other in the Spicer Showdown Poker Tournament at 7 p.m., Oct. 31, in Skyview Room No. 4 at Bally’s Hotel Casino, located on the world-famous Las Vegas Strip.

Instant-win game cards were handed out to technicians and counter professionals with every purchase of an open stock premium quality Spicer professional grade chassis between April 15 and Aug. 15, 2006.

The VIP winners traveling to Las Vegas for the promotion are: Technician Michael Miller of Electric City Brake in Great Falls, Mont., and counterman Roscoe Sanborn of Professional Automotive Warehouse in Belt, Mont.; technician Dana Murphy of The Auto Clinic in Pepperell, Mass., and counterman Vincent Strokus of Robbins Auto Parts in Hudson, N.H.; technician William “Bill” Gurney of Gurney’s Automotive Repair in Candia, N.H., and counterman David Dunn of Robbins Auto Parts in Hudson, N.H.; technician Andrew Rinke of Bowe Chevrolet in Medicine Lodge, Kan., and counterman Mikel Brittain of K&M Auto Parts, also in Medicine Lodge, Kan; technician Randy King of Taylors Service Max in Great Falls, Mont., and counterperson Lolly Hader of Professional Automotive Warehouse, also in Great Falls, Mont; technician Barry Bass of Safety Brake Service Center in Dallas, Texas, and counterman Herb Levine of Midway Auto Supply No. 3, also in Dallas.

Additional instant-win prizes included professional poker tables, Texas Hold ‘Em table tops, Texas Hold ‘Em poker kits, poker chip sets and Spicer Chassis sunglasses.
