19th September 2008 - Gerry Plener Appointed VP - New Business Development at ABS Friction

John Burns, President of ABS Friction of Guelph, Ontario, is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran Gerry Plener as Vice President of New Business Development, from his previous role as ABS Consultant.

Well known as a celebrity within the Canadian Automotive Aftermarket Industry, Gerry has over 45 years of experience in his illustrious career, perhaps best known as his role as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Dana Brake and Chassis.

Guelph-based ABS Friction is a manufacturer and industry leader of disc brake pads for the automotive replacement market, currently supplying to over 25 countries around the world.
