Announces Installation of Model 3900 Automotive NVH Brake Dynamometer in
Korea
Link Engineering announced that the recently
commissioned 3900 NVH Brake Dynamometer, located at its facility in
Korea, is now available to support your testing needs. The Model 3900
NVH Dynamometer provides capability for the testing of corner and axle
type brake fixtures. The dynamometer controls are designed to enable
close correlation with existing certification test protocols, including
SAE J2521, and will soon be GM TIP certified.
The Link 3900 NVH dynamometer is
specifically designed for brake noise testing. The brake test chamber is
separated from the dynamometer drive and support systems to isolate
outside noise and vibration sources. The double-wall enclosure
specifically assists in low-frequency noise testing and environmental
testing, allowing for precise control of temperature and humidity. The
walk-in construction will accommodate full vehicle corner sections and
axle fixtures as well as conventional fixtures. The system incorporates
state-of-the-art technology for optimal correlation to actual operating
conditions.
The NVH module is based on the Bruel & Kjaer
System. The Bruel & Kjaer PULSE™ software runs under the ProLink™
software package to maximize the ease of use while providing a full set
of noise and vibration analysis capabilities.
With this most recent installation, Link
proudly operates 18 NVH dynamometers, along with over 30 performance
dynamometers, offering testing services to meet customer needs around
the world.
