November 2009 - BREMBO
Introduces a Complete Range of Braking Products for the Aftermarket
Brembo, the world leader in
the design and manufacture of braking systems for all kind of vehicles,
is proud to announce that the new comprehensive brake parts family of
top quality braking products is now available on all European markets.
The company has historically
supplied OE brake systems and components to the most prestigious car
manufacturers and has now addressed the same high quality approach to
the complete aftermarket braking range. The traditional range of brake
discs and drums has been augmented by an extensive friction program:
pads, hydraulic components and drum maintenance kits (with shoes, slave
cylinders, automatic adjusters, springs and lubricants). Brembo's new
aftermarket strategy is based on the objective to satisfy every
customers’ need: a new range that offers the right product for all
applications, with the appropriate technical content, an increased
presence on all markets, larger territory coverage, improved time to
market, service and support.
BREMBO PADS PROGRAM
The new Brembo range of
aftermarket pads is a response to the constant demand by customers for a
premium brake pad to match the quality of the Brembo brake disc. The
Brembo pads are the result of R&D activities carried out jointly with
leading carmakers and rank among the highest quality products available
worldwide in terms of performance, reliability and durability.
The performance features of
the new product include minimal braking distances and constant grip even
at high temperatures. Other typical quality features include comfortable
braking and reduced noise. Maximum braking safety is guaranteed in
modern cars equipped with Brembo discs and fitted with these pads.
The European catalogue,
already available in TecDoc, includes:
| ▫ |
Around 1,000 part numbers. |
| ▫ |
More than 80 new entries per
year. |
| ▫ |
Coverage of more than 98% of
all European cars and commercial vehicles in circulation. |
| ▫ |
Pads type-approved to
ECE-R90 brake safety regulations. |
BREMBO DRUM KITS
Brembo now offers a
practical and comprehensive solution for replacing drum brake
components. Both Standard Kit and pre-assembled Kit&Fit solutions
include everything which the mechanic needs for professional replacement
and maintenance of rear brakes: brake shoes, slave cylinders, automatic
adjusters, springs and lubricants. Brembo Kit&Fit is the easiest
available solution since the mechanic only has to open the box and fit
the pre-assembled kit into the drum.
The Standard Kit contains
all parts separately packed for easy assembly. The range – already
available in TecDoc – covers all the relevant circulating applications:
| ▫ |
More than 200 part numbers
of pre-assembled Kit&Fit components. |
| ▫ |
More than 500 Standard Kit
part numbers. |

Coverage of 98% of all
European vehicles in circulation. |
| ▫ |
Brake shoes type-approved to
ECE-R90 brake safety regulations. |

parts together represent an exhaustive approach towards the brake market
and provide European customers with a complete package:
