7th July 2010 - Rob Sweetnam New Managing Director of TMD Friction UK Ltd.

TMD Friction Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Sweetnam to the position of Managing Director TMD Friction UK Ltd. as of 7th June 2010.

Rob Sweetnam is well experienced within the Independent Aftermarket, joining TMD Friction from Bosal International in Belgium, where he held the position of Group Commercial Director Aftermarket, with responsibilities for European sales, marketing and distribution.  Prior to this he held the positions of Managing Director Bosal UK Ltd. and Managing Director of Bosal’s Industrial Division in South Africa.

In his position as Managing Director of TMD Friction UK Ltd., Rob Sweetnam will report directly to the Senior Vice President Aftermarket, Josef Besting, and will be responsible for all the TMD activities and facilities in the UK, including Cleckheaton, Warrington and the manufacturing sites at Hartlepool and Manchester.
