NUCAP Industries Inc. is the largest
global producer of braking system components. The company’s
products, such as its patented NRS Safe mechanical lock retention
system, are used in cars, buses, trucks and motorcycles. The
company has operations in Canada, USA, Europe, and China. Nucap
serves customers in over 50 countries.
NUCAP is currently seeking a talented
Vice President, Global Sourcing to take responsibility for the
direction of the materials management and purchasing function in
order to achieve service and cost goals as well as the development
of best practices to drive service level improvements. Reporting to
the Chief Executive Office, this position will be located in
Toronto, Canada and will be accountable for the following
deliverables.

Manage
global supply base for a variety of materials. |

Achieve
cost reduction targets. |
| °
|
Develop
and maintain a high-performance culture in the function,
resulting in continued success meeting functional KPI’s and
improved levels of customer service on a global level while
minimizing cost. |

Manage
the tactical operation of the materials management and
purchasing function and staff. |
| °
|
Collaborate with divisional and cross functional management
teams to ensure alignment of activities and achievement of
objectives. |
| °
|
Work
across global organization, sharing and learning best
practices, and balancing global and local needs and impacts. |
| °
|
Implement high value IT systems. |
| °
|
Identify
and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
and accuracy. |
| °
|
Identify
vendor opportunities and challenges and partner with Global
Product Management team to ensure appropriate resolution. |
The ideal
candidate will possess:

University
degree in business, operations or relevant field of study
and 10 years materials management and purchasing experience
with at least 3 years at a global level. |

|
Strong working
knowledge of inventory planning, forecasting techniques as
well as operational systems. |
| °
|
Detail-oriented
with strong quantitative analytical skills and an innovative
approach to problem solving. |
| °
|
Strong written
communication and presentation skills. |
